Bill Johnson was born John William Schanzenbach, but at age 7, his father changed the family name to Johnson, he also changed John's first name to Leonard. Bill seems not to have known his name was not John until the NEXT World War when, the selective service discovered it for him. Indeed, Bill's first two children are listed at havin a father named "John Johnson". Through the years, Bill wrote a good many Poems and learned to play the Guitar.
